BGN’s olefins trading desk manages and optimizes global ethylene, propylene and C4 flows through a mix of term offtake and spot contracts. Our LPG shipping fleet is one of the largest in the world, with +40-vessels including state-of-the-art, dual-fuel Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC), capable of operating on traditional and cleaner fuel alternatives.
Serving as the biggest ofttaker of LPG from the United States, we supply propane and butane to distributors, utilities, and petrochemical companies around the globe.
Through strong, long-term partnerships such as our joint venture with Al Seer Marine, UAE and HMM Korea, we invest in LPG infrastructure and operations globally to ensure security of supply and long-term availability of this essential transition fuel.

BGN is playing a leading role in the aviation sector’s transition to low-carbon operations, providing airlines and fuel distributors with reliable access to certified Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
From our Houston hub and working with production partners, we coordinate sourcing, blending, storage and delivery of SAF to international airline carriers through BGN’s global trading and logistics network.
Our SAF program is built on long-term partnerships with recognized refiners and technology providers using mature HEFA processes and other next-generation feedstocks.
All SAF handled by BGN US meets international sustainability certifications and standards including ISCC EU/Plus and CORSIA, ensuring verifiable lifecycle carbon reductions and full traceability from production to delivery.
